My empathy and intuition were shaped while growing up in a multicultural, multi-religious, multi-socioeconomical family and diverse community near the Hsi Lai Temple. I gained valuable code-switching skills to translate between different worlds with care. Regardless if language was a barrier, I experienced communication as the impetus of connection.

As I ended my teen years, I experienced both psychological maltreatment and a profound loss that changed the trajectory my life. It became a turning point in my own personal growth. It's how I discovered the power of timing, the power of fostering relationships, and the power of inner-knowing.
